CCE — Conscious Cuddle Experience
Conscious touch,in a group.
A facilitated evening with eight to twenty people, a fixed set of rules and a great many blankets. The cheapest and least dramatic way to try cuddle therapy for the first time.

Chapter 01 — What a CCE is
Not an event, not a party in the usual sense — a guided evening.
An evening whereasking matters morethan touching.
Conscious Cuddle Experience means exactly that: touching consciously. The whole evening is built so that every touch is asked for beforehand and answered explicitly. That is why a CCE doesn't begin with cuddling but with exercises in saying no.
After that the room is open: blankets, cushions, dimmed light, usually music. Some lie in pairs, some in fives, some sit at the edge the whole time with a cup of tea. I am in the room throughout as the host, approachable and responsible for making sure the framework holds.
For many people the CCE is the step before a one-to-one session: you see what it looks like before lying down alone in a room with a stranger. And for many it stays the format, because a group has a warmth all of its own.
You can recognise a serious cuddle party by four things: the rules are published and read out loud on site. Sex-freeness is stated clearly, not hinted at. An approachable host stays in the room all evening. And alcohol is ruled out — before and during. If one of these is missing, don't go.
Chapter 02 — The running order
So that nobody spends the evening wondering what comes next.
Three hours,in six parts.
The sequence is always the same. That is exactly what makes it bearable for new guests: there is no surprise you can't see coming.
Ask for a place- 4.00 pm
Arriving
Tea, socks, a seated circle. Everyone says one sentence — no more.
- 4.20 pm
The rules
Read out loud together. Anyone who doesn't want to go along leaves now, without it getting awkward.
- 4.40 pm
Warming up
Small exercises in pairs: asking, saying no, saying yes. Still without cuddling — and with a great deal of laughter.
- 5.15 pm
Free cuddling
The main part. Whoever wants to lies down; whoever doesn't sits at the edge and watches. Both are completely fine.
- 6.30 pm
Closing circle
A short word on how it was. Then tea, tidying up, home.
- 7.00 pm
End
No after-party, no extension, no swapping of addresses.
The times describe a typical CCE afternoon, not a fixed date. What applies on a given evening is in the invitation.
Chapter 03 — The rules — at the front, not the back
At a cuddle party the house rules come first. Otherwise they don't work.
Ten sentencesthat carrythe evening.
- 01
Sex-free. No exceptions.
No sexual acts, no sexual intent, no grey area. If you are looking for something else, you are in the wrong place — and I would rather say that now than afterwards.
- 02
Clothes stay on.
Comfortable, long-sleeved, freshly washed. No zips, no belt buckles, no bare skin other than hands, arms and face.
- 03
We ask first. Always.
Every touch is announced or requested — by you and by me. Nothing simply happens because it seems obvious in the moment.
- 04
A no needs no reason.
You don't have to explain yourself, apologise or weigh anything up. A no is a complete answer.
- 05
A yes can be taken back.
Halfway through, after ten minutes, even if you wanted it a moment ago. That isn't a step backwards, that is the whole point.
- 06
Only a real yes counts.
No maybe, no polite yes, no “it's fine”. When in doubt we do nothing and talk.
- 07
Wheel of Consent.
Before every touch it is clear who is giving and who is taking — and whom the touch is currently serving. That is exactly what separates cuddle therapy from everything else.
- 08
Sober.
No alcohol, no drugs — not beforehand and not during. For me that is non-negotiable, out of my own history.
- 09
What happens here stays here.
No names, no stories, no photos. I pass nothing on, and I ask the same of you.
- 10
I stop things if the framework tips.
If a boundary is crossed, the session ends — without discussion and without a refund. That too is part of a safe space.
“Anyone who stays sitting at the edge and only watches hasn't missed the evening. They did exactly what they wanted.”
Chapter 04 — What guests ask beforehand
The four sentences that come up before every first CCE.
Four worries,cleared up in advance.
- I don't know anyone there.
- That goes for almost everyone. That's why the start is facilitated — after forty minutes it is no longer a room full of strangers.
- Do I have to cuddle with everyone?
- With nobody. You may sit at the edge all evening and watch. That is not a failure, it is a permitted variant.
- What if somebody becomes pushy?
- I am in the room the whole time and I step in. Anyone who breaks the rules leaves — immediately and without discussion.
- Is this a dating event?
- No. Sex-free means sex-free, afterwards as well. Anyone who wants to meet someone here has picked the wrong evening.
